Clergy Coalition Statement of Support

The St. Louis Metropolitan Clergy Coalition has agreed to support the NorthSide Regeneration Project.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Clergy Coalition is an assemblage of over forty churches throughout the Metropolitan St. Louis Area. The Coalition is non-denominational and open to churches of different religious affiliations. Through its member churches, the Coalition represents over 10,000 parishioners. Many of these churches, and their parishioners, are located within the boundaries of the NorthSide Regeneration Project area.

The members of the Clergy Coalition have heard and evaluated the Pros and Cons of the Project and have met personally with Midge and Paul McKee, Jr. We posed hard questions to them, and after doing further due diligence, we have firmly concluded that the NorthSide Regeneration Project can deliver needed jobs and renewed commercial and residential vitality to the Project area and its surrounding neighborhoods.

We have offered prayers that this community and all the people of this region will join together to embrace and support this truly transformational project.
